Perhaps. In Radiant Dawn, his weight class is 13, while Soren's (his boyfriend's) is 6. Yeah, major size difference + yaoi fanarts = Ike looking like a pedo.

I still don't get why on a lot of Japanese fanarts Ike likes meat though. But, wait I've talked about this before haven't I? Whops, although one kind of has to admit that where it comes to discussions on Ike it is far too easy to fall into a loop of bringing up his same one or two distinct personality traits over and over. Not to mention that those few traits include all the ones the fans attributed to him. Without those he'd just be a bag of muscles with a bandana that noone really likes to hear talk.

Yeah. Weight is a part of the game. A heavier character can carry or rescue a lighter character on the battlefield. Weight also affects whether a character can push another one to advance a square without sacrificing a turn on the moved character.
Ike jumps from a weight of 9 (or 11? I forgot) in PoR to 13 in RD. Steroids!

Another FE joke. It comes from in-game dialogue when Ike's non-human allies are preparing food for the mercenary company, and they say something to the effect of, "Never knew you humans could eat so much." And someone else responds, "Ike's not that bad. Actually...he is."

Oh could it be Chicken? BEEF? Whatever Ike's eating in that picture, if it's meat, it can't possibly originate from Roy's body (wherever our boy did go then.. I'd say either he has turned into Pit or got killed by him).
On the other hand, Mewtwo's big curvy hips could easily have passed for a feast or two. Not that I like propagating the idea of consuming an animal with altered dna, but it might offer an alternative to the steroids in explaining how Ike suddenly went up all those weight classes.
Captain Falcon was his personal trainer.
