Continuing from last time, here's the "Other" section of the Disgaea Infinite Database. As mentioned before, I attempted to put everything in here as it was in the Database, save for anything with double parentheses, which are my comments.
Other
Table of Contents
Will probably come some day my wrist isn't on fire.
No. 01 Pudding:
Tasty treat made with milk and sugar. There's a layer of caramel sauce at its base. Nice touch, if you're into presentation.
The Limited Pudding from the Sea of Gehenna is very popular in the Netherworld. About 10,000 units are sold each day.
It's Etna's favorite as well, naturally.
A special version of the pudding is being produced, limited to only 100 units per day. Etna visited the Shopping Channel every morning to purchase that pudding, but she always slept in a little too late. However, she was finally able to order one the other day after setting her alarm. She also offered one HL to the Prinny that managed to wake her up. Every Prinny failed. ((Picture of Etna sitting on a Prinny, humming, with pudding in little heart bubbles around her))
Now she only has to relax and wait for it to arrive...
No. 02 Crab Brain:
If you remove the shell from a steamed crab, you'll find this pasty, miso-like thing.
The Flamin' Crab from the Sea of Gehenna is known for its crab brain, like the pudding. The red, pasty thing is supposed to go very well with rice and Fish Cakes. Flonne yells out this dish's name quite often.
It's a crab's innards!
No. 03 Sexy Bod:
A body that is big and small in the right places. It's not too skinny, not too fat. A very difficult balance. Some people get it.
Apparently, drinking milk during puberty helps one gain a Sexy Bod, but it's unproven.
By the way, I recommend the Demon Brand's version of Milk Coffee. Energizing!
Sexy Bod is not Laharl's favorite.
Ex: Jennifer, Nekomata, Succubus.
((Centered picture of Succubus, Jennifer, and another Succubus cheering and sending hearts at a "DX"ing Laharl sprite))
No. 04 Flat Chest:
All hail the flat chests!
Ex: Etna, Flonne.
((Centered picture of Etna with Sexy Beam poses sending hearts toward Laharl. ...Who is walking away.))
P.S.
It's not that Etna doesn't have any breasts! They're there, just hidden really well!
No. 05 Amazombie: ((Picture of a delivery bag with the Amazombie logo aligned right))
The Netherworld Shopping Channel is now online!
It's got the best selection in the universe. Prosecution tools, desserts, armor, DVDs, Prinnies... anything you want or need is here.

If you can't pay the amount in full, please note your item may be stowed in storage until you pay off the fee by working for Amazombie. thank you for your cooperation.
No. 06 Prism Rangers:
A drama about friendship and love involving seven colorfully-costumed warriors.
((Centered picture of Prism Rangers standing on a rainbow in space. Don't ask me, it's the Prism Rangers.))
The warriors consist of humans, demons, and angels from different worlds. Real actors were also scouted or kidnapped from different worlds to increase ratings further and add to the show's production values somehow.
Replacements are lined up for if a hero dies, and the villains do get killed in real life. The longer you live, the longer you're in the spotlight.
The viewers enjoy the realistic acting and battles conducted by the cast in order to stay alive... er... on the show.
The show attracts a wide range of viewers from children to adults to Mid-Boss.
One of their attacks, Prism Justice, became popular among kids, and all adults strive to obtain their own real Justice Sword.
It's got a record-breaking 37,564 episodes and attracts 42% of all viewers, according to Evilsen Ratings. During its run, 74,642 heroes have died or escaped. For villains, 24,567.
The longest-living villain was the Angel Phantom, Angeler. Starred in 3,745 episodes. The episodes also aired in Celestia, causing a major controversy to rage soon after.
No. 07 Effort Ninja Gorillian:
Gorillian solves everything by working hard and trusting his gut. It's an old, popular anime, now adapted into a live-action film.
He actually doesn't know any real ninja moves. He moves his feet really fast to walk on water and runs through flames with just his kiai. Many little demons injured themselves by trying his skills at home, so the show was eventually cancelled.
The final episode was rarely seen, but now it has been remade as a new OVA included in the DVD Box Set. It's ludicrously priced, though. It became very popular among now adults, and it is one of the best sellers on Amazombie. Rumor has it they needed to change the main actor four times while shooting the live-action movie. Also, the main actor's voice was changed to a woman's voice when it was localized in another Netherworld. No explanation was given. ((laaaawl))
No. 08 Fish Cake:
Fish Cake is made with both red and white fish meat. It has a long and skinny cylindrical shape. It is often used as a ramen topping. It costs extra, though.
Flonne yells this food's name quite often.
((centered picture of Flonne, holding out the fish cake, yelling out the name. This one is drawn!))
No. 09 Dood:
This must be put at the end of every sentence a Prinny speaks.
However, this rule has become fairly optional, since Prinny Kurtis and Big Sis Prinny don't use "dood" in their dialogue at all. Some Prinnies have trained themselves to use it less often, though they are ridiculed. There are various other rules when using the word "dood," such as:
It is not a real noun; people are not "doods." For example, "Master Dood!" for "Master Etna!"
It cannot be used in puns. For example, "Just doing my dood-y, dood! Tee-hee!"
No. 10 Theatrical Version:
"Prism Rangers vs. Gorillian" is a theatrical version of Prism Rangers featuring Gorillian.
((Centered picture of posing Prism Rangers in front of Gorillian. His eye is glowing. Also this is drawn!))
The DVD was said to be an impossible find, so it's only available at a premium price. The Netherworld Shopping Channel happened to carry the DVD, so Flonne ordered it and did a little dance of joy in private. She has yet to receive her product.
No. 11 Assassination:
We know, we know. He wasn't actually killed. We just have to roll with it.
No. 12 108 Punishments:
The punishments Laharl created. As the name implies, there are 108 of them.
Headbutt
Cushion Carrier for a Day
Bucket on the Head
No Meal
Sing While on Your Back
Above are some of the simpler punishments.
Decreased Bonus
Decreased Salary
24 Hour Labor
Savings Liquidation
Such are some of the more severe punishmends.
Today's punishment is the 107th out of the total 108, "Salary Cut." It's a little worse than Decreased Salary.
((Right-Aligned picture of Prinny FLIPPING HIS SHIT over a piece of paper that says: "Nether-Bill: You owe over [1bunchof0s] to Sir Laharl!"))
Punishment 108 is "Negative Salary," forcing the Prinnies to pay Laharl so they can continue to work for him.
No. 13 Volunteer:
Teacher Raspberyl
"Today I'll give you a special lecture! It's one of the most important for delinquents!
Today's topic is my favorite word... That's right, Volunteer!
((Picture to the right in D3 sprites with Beryl in teacher-outfit [I have no idea why] holding out a donation box with a "$" in a speech bubble over her head. Kyoko and Asuka are on either side brandishing weapons))
No matter how badly you're hurt, punished, or hated, you gotta help people unconditionally. Let them see your overflowing love!
What? They still don't appreciate it?
Maybe you're still looking to get something in return. Expecting a tasty snack as a reward? A beefed up resume? That's not volunteering.
Don't ask for anything back. They'll see the glint of greed in your eyes.
...Anyway, all I wanna say is that I want all of your hearts to grow through this super delinquent move, Volunteering.
How does one's heart grow?
I see that you've never volunteered. Then let's begin with my favorite, the 24-Hour Trash Pick-Up!
What? That's too long? Don't be a fool. This is the Netherworld. Trash is everywhere.
And then when you've picked up all the trash, you'll finally... Hmph. I'll keep that to myself. I don't wanna ruin my students' fun."
No. 14 Tsundere:
Tsundere has been a hot topic among Netherworld researchers. There've been many discussions lasting several days and nights.
The word Tsundere was invented recently. It describes a person who acts cold (Tsun) in public, but acts sweet (dere) when alone. Hiding your dere-ness to someone you like and acting tsun-ish instead is an act of Tsundere. Tsundere people are pretty easy to spot regardless... Except for dense protagonists.
Take Rozalin, who prepares a handmade lunch and forces on Adell by saying "D, don't think I made this just for you!" This is a good example of such an act.
((Centered picture of a "O_O" Adell and a screaming Rozy, who is saying the line above))
*Guest Characters
Adell and Rozalin are from Disgaea 2. (They're strange coup-... I mean, civilian and princess.)
Succubae represent the Netherworld's women, but they live by alluring men... so it seems there are no sensitive women like there are in the human world. Maybe.
No. 15 Diary:
An item used to record daily happenings. People do it every day, week, or whenever they feel like it.
It's nice to read older entries to embarrass yourself, or to just reminisce.
Ever since one incident, Etna started keeping a diary. Apparently, you get to read her diary in Disgaea, but the requirement will be kept top secret.
((Right-aligned picture of Etna in front of her diary desk in her room))
No. 16 Pocket Watch:
A small watch that you can carry in your pocket or in a bag. Watches in the Netherworld are carried around more as a fashion statement, since there's really no sense of time here. Items made in the human world are especially trendy. Usually they have very artistic face covers, so they are traded at high prices among wealthy demon royalty.
Wrist watches are popular in the human world, but due to the aforementioned reason, pocket watches are more popular in the Netherworld.
No. 17 Death Flag Cliche:
Comes back more powerful, once defeated.
Always late to enter the scene of crisis.
Always there to save a rival from the crisis.
The final boss has at least two forms.
In a crisis, shout... "Leave this place to me!" Then die, may be implied or pretend, then come back to life later, at the next crisis.
Take out a photo of a beautiful girl... "I... I'm thinking about asking her to marry me after this horrible war ends." Then die in the next scene.
Knock down a strong enemy with a super-move..."...Did I get it?!" or "That did ti!" No. It's usually fine and, once visible, gets pissed off and powers up.
No. 18 Thursday's Body Part: ((Right-aligned picture of the pink, pudding-case like fuel pack))
The fuel pack inside Thursday's body.
Jennifer's daily maintenance of Thursday keeps his fuel full everyday.
She's always thinking about a way to power-up Thursday. She's actually done it several times already. Thursday loves Jennifer because she takes care of him all the time.
No. 19 Hell (HL):
The Netherworld's currency. It is also needed for the Prinnies to reincarnate.
1 HL = 1 cent
((Right-aligned picture of Prinny holding up a coin on top of a mountain with "1HL saved is 1HL stolen."))
Hell Idioms:
Everything is Hell.
1 HL saved is 1 HL stolen.
1 HL causes Prinny to laugh or cry.
1 HL is just a projectile to Overlord Laharl.
No. 20 Old Bottle:
Bottlemail from Phantom Brave. These things are used as communication tools in Ivoire. They are given life through magic.
How to use Bottlemail:
((Right-aligned picture of a bottlemail--hand drawn!))
1. Put whatever you want inside, then close the lid firmly.
2. Write information on the address label. (*Make it legible, or it may not be delivered correctly.)
3. Let the Bottlemail take care of the rest! Just hope that it will be delivered to the right person safely.
No. 21 Poster:
Papers posted on building walls or billboards (not Etna). Posters un-related to anime, manga, or games are seen as solicitation in the Netherworld.
"Wash your hands and gargle mouthwash." That's just an annoyance. Also, "Danger Ahead!" is irritating because it's always a blatant lie.
No. 22 Previews: ((Right-aligned picture of a Next Time))
Fake previews that are inserted between the episodes of Disgaea. Usually, Etna is the main character.
These often consist of things unrelated to the game's story, like baseball tournaments and magical girls. it's enjoyable if you're the type of person who gets it. Sometimes the previews come true.
*Names
Netherworld TV (Disgaea 2)
Previews (Disgaea 3)
No. 23 Gordon [skill name]!:
Gordon's skills are cast as he yells, "Take this special skill from the 37th Defender of Earth!" The skills are passed down from generation to generation.
Examples:
Gordon Attack!
Gordon Punch!
Gordon Spark!
No. 24 [Number] Arts:
Jennifer is a master of Kung Fu, an ancient martial art.
Example:
First Arts
Second Arts
Final Arts
She usually acts as Gordon's support, but if she gets serious, then her powers surpass Gordon's easily.
Jennifer is popular among men and women due to her humility. She never gets caught up in her beauty or her strength. She has more fans that Gordon, but let's keep that on the down low, shall we?
No. 25 Honor & Delinquency:
In the Evil Academy in Disgaea 3 slackers are called Honor Students and hard workers are called Delinquents.
Mao is known as the No.1 Honor Student at the academy. He's never, ever gone to class since the school opened. He spends his days reading manga and playing games. Of course, his tuition is overdue. He is proud of never washing his hands after going to the bathroom.
Raspberyl is feared as the No.1 Delinquent. She's never missed school and studies very hard. because her teacher doesn't assign homework, she creates her own assignments. She always finishes her lunch, as well as her absent classmates'.
((Centered image of Mao vs Raspberyl. The background has speed lines. There is lightning. Intense, man.))
No. 26 Tutorial:
The Tutorial is the first area of a game where various functions are described and shown. This is very useful to new users, especially because each game has different controls and functions depending on the genre.
Disgaea titles are equipped with user-friendly tutorials that are easy to follow for those players just starting out!
No. 27 Guffaw:
A pro-tip on being a demon, witch, or royalty:
Laharl
"Haaaah-ha ha ha ha ha!"
Mao
"Muhahahaha!" ((Or you could insert "Hahaha!" here if you prefer his Japanese laugh.))
Marjoly
"Hooh ho ho ho ho ho!"
Those three laughs are known as "The Netherworld's Three Greatest Guffaws."
((Centered image of Marjoly, Laharl, and Mao laughing while standing on top of the world))
No. 28 Geo Symbol:
[Origin]
The Geo Effect was found by Valiamid, father of Nethergeography, based off of the Seven Spiritual Elements that form magic.
[Elements of the World]
Demons believe that the 7 colors, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Aqua, and White, symbolize the Spiritual Elements that make up the Netherworld. (These are also the source of all magic.)
((Right aligned picture of various Geo Symbols... with dots on them like they were dragon balls))
Red: Fire
Green: Wind
Blue: Water
Yellow: Star
Purple: Dark
Aqua: Life
White: Holy
[Geo Panel]
Geo Panels are areas containing these spiritual elements. However, Geo Panels are different fro the Elements, and there are 6* types. Geo Panels synchronize when colored the same, so when one with a certain color is affected, all others of that color will be, as well.
*White elements usually get absorbed and become invisible on land, since the "Holy" effect contradicts the Netherworld.
[Geo Symbol]
Geo Symbols are crystals that contain one of those seven Spiritual Elements.
The Elements from Geo Panels come out and form into crystals with powerful abilities. Geo Symbols imbue great bonuses upon Panels with the same color.
A Geo Symbol with "Attack Power +50%" on top of a Yellow Panel will affect all present Yellow Panels, and also any individuals roaming around on top of them.
Chain Synchronization occurs when a Geo Symbol is destroyed on top of a Panel. If a Red Symbol is destroyed on top of a Yellow Panel, all other present Yellow Panels will turn red in color.
When the Holy Element is crystallized, it can potentially nullify other Spiritual Elements, making it a destructive Geo Symbol.
All of the above is collectively known as "The Geo Effect."
Um... Was that useful for this game?
No. 29 Meatopia Chocolate Bar: ((Right-aligned picture of a piece of meat with chocolate on it))
Candy bar for demon kids. Chocolate-covered fresh meat. The sweet combination of raw meat and chocolate appeals to kids and adults.
Hanako and Taro from Disgaea 2 also love this candy bar.
No. 30 Time:
Time in the Netherworld passes slower than in the human world. This is why demons live 100 times longer than humans.
Clocks exist in the Netherworld, but the hands are crooked and the numberings are wrong. Perfectly made for the Netherworld.
You can see that there's 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock, but you shouldn't really trust them anyway.
By the way, time is strict in Celestia!
No. 31 Spit Up The Sky:
What goes up must come down.
Think carefully before you act.
No. 32 Trendy:

No. 33 UFO:
It's an Unidentified Flying Object. Everything about it is futuristic and smooth. People think it's controlled by aliens.
It's often seen in Sci-Fi movies. The appearance is very "special."
No one knows if it really exists. Not that I've seen aliens before.
No. 34 Glasses:
A tool to improve one's vision. Great for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism! Lenses are usually glass or plastic. Most people choose plastic. Depending on the strength, lenses sometimes cost more than the frames.
((Right aligned picture of Mao, Geoffrey, Teacher!Beryl, Female Gunner, Ranger, Director, Skull, and Adell's Dad's window faces))
By the way, this is the cover page of Netherworld Glasses that was released just a few days ago.
Read this magazine and become part of the Glasses Family!

In the Japanese Disgaea series, he's called "Jiiya."
No. 36 Sea Cucumber:
An echinoderm found on the sea floor.
The common Japanese sea cucumber is used as food in, you guessed it, Japan. After washing it off in salf water, you can eat it and enjoy its crunchy texture. It's pickled insides are a delicacy.
((Right-aligned, hand drawn picture of Mao happily dissecting a cucumber with the label "Mao's Dissection: Sea Cucumber))
It's survival instinct is incredible, as even if it's cut in half, it will regenerate.
Don't try this at home! Oh, also, don't be mean!
No. 37 Cleaning Duty:
Prinnies split into groups to complete various tasks in the castle every day.
Cleaning used to be a Prinny-only task, but since Gordon came to the castle, he's been assigned to it as well. He often mingles with the cleaning Prinnies.
However, Gordon is too proud to clean and he often slacks off. He hasn't left a good impression on the Prinnies.
No. 38 Defender of Earth:
This title has been passed down since the original title holder, Don Joaquin. Gordon is the 37th Defender of Earth.
Gordon's other title is "Netherworld Hero."
Gordon came to the Netherworld to defeat the Overlord and then he got stuck here. Since he's under Laharl's care now, Laharl Has assigned that title to Gordon.
Gordon probably hates it.
No. 39 Scavenger:
In the world of Disgaea, there are random treasure chests that often contain food.
You're lucky to find pizza or pudding, but usually you will find ABC Gum and such.
Someone must be doing this on purpose. It's a total bummer...

No. 41 Dresser and Vase:
A traditional heroic investigation method, a hero will search people's dressers and vases, taking his findings with him afterwards.
Most things are worthless, but some people have seen a hero rejoicing over finding seeds and generally worthless medals.

It is said that the residents replace the items as a thanks to the heroes.
No. 42 Teriyaki Pizza:
Slow baked pizza with thick crust, tons of sausages, bell peppers and special teriyaki sauce.

No. 43 Gentleman:
A perfect, elite demon royal with education and knowledge that would make a grown man cry.
This chosen one will attract all female demon royals and be surrounded by them everyday.
This is known as the "Royal Harem" in underground information networks.
It's also a prerequisite to be a total hottie.
No. 44 Hero's Duty:
The Netherworld Hero takes on an important role in the Overlord's Castle.
Cleaning, laundry, security, watching over RosenQueen shops, reporting to the Prince when he calls meetings...
Wait, are we talking about Prinnies?
No. 45 Great Overlord:
Etna
"I originally served King Krichevskoy. He was a great Overlord that everyone liked. he was the person I looked up to the most.
Prince Laharl is his only son. And now I'm the Prince's vassal.
And the Prince is now the Overlord.
If only the former Overlord didn't die like he did, I would still be... *sigh*
What? Why am I so disappointed? The question is, why wouldn't I be?!
An Overlord is supposed to be respectable. Not some stupid, immature brat like him! Anyone would be upset if they were me.
So I decided to educate him my way.
I want the Prince to become a wonderful Overlord like his father used to be. You understand right?
But as far as I can see now, that won't happen for a while...
Please grow up soon! Or else I might take over!
Priiiiince ♥"
No. 46 Stupid Laugh:
What is the difference between Gordon's stupid laugh and Laharl's guffaw?
((Centered picture of Gordon laughing much to the annoyance of Etna and a prinny))
To everyone else, they're both just loud and obnocious. They get to here those two laugh out loud (LOL 4 the txt friendly) all day every day.
