And... scene!
Today was the last day of my Freshman "dance" year! I can't believe it's gone by so quickly! Modern showings went well. I love the showings at the end of the semster, it's fun to watch all of the dancers and see the different styles. Kind of like a mini-performance. I'm really going to miss the atmosphere over the summer.
An emotional aspect to the day today was that a number of the seniors are graduating. :( It's going to be so sad to see them go! I'm working graduation as an usher, so, seeing them walk is going to be really sad! :( But, seeing them leave is really showing me where I want to be in this department and what I'm working for.
I am really nervous about my meeting with the faculty! I'm debating on whether to talk to them about what I'm worrying about. The biggest thing is that I don't think I'm going to improve by having Carolina. I'll be at the same point when I try to get into modern III. I will have had afro-cuban and my "real" modern technique will have suffered. :( I don't know whether I should discuss this with them or not. I guess I'll see...
So, I'm going to watch 'Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun' with the girls right now.
I only have two essays to write and freshman year will be officially over!
