Pairing(s): broken!2min
Summary: So they meet again
Disclaimer: I own the plot. But not SHINee, sadly.
A/N: Here's the sequel! I wrote it in a really short time so I'm quite sure there are mistakes and it's really short and it can't be very good. Sorry! Maybe I'll read through and rewrite some parts of it tomorrow. I need sleep now! :D I've decided to make it a three-shot so a third part will come soon! :D

His attention was drawn away from the book he was reading when the small screen of his handphone lit up. “Who would text me at this time of the night?” He mumbled to himself.

To: Minho
From: Taemin
Hello. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? How are you?
His eyes widened at the sight of the message from his Love. 2 long, heartbreaking years of not being able to contact Taemin is any way left him hopeless, until he saw that message. He quickly replied to his message, hoping it was not just a dream.

Hi! I’ve been alright, how about you? You shouldn’t be awake so late at night!
He anxiously awaited a reply. Several minutes passed and he was beginning to think his imagination was acting up. Just then, his phone vibrated and he nearly jumped off his chair.

To: Minho

I’m fine (: I was just about to go to sleep, but before that, I wanted to ask you if you would like to meet this weekend and catch up with each other.
He couldn’t help but smile at the message. Taemin wanted to meet him again! Could this be the end of his long, loveless suffering?

I’d love to. How about this Saturday at the café we use to go to, at about 12pm?
The reply came almost instantly this time.

OK. See you then.
Was be dreaming? He sure hoped not. He was finally going to see Taemin again!

Saturday took its time to arrive, but when it finally did, Minho awoke with a huge smile plastered on his face. He quickly got dressed and left the house, feeling nervous about how the meeting with Taemin would go. When he reached the café, he checked his watch.
“11.42am. 18 minutes early.. Well I might as well get a seat first.” He thought to himself as he stepped into the café that brought back so many memories: Their confession, first date and first fight all happened here. Wonderful (and some not-so-wonderful) memories flooded his mind and before he new it, it was noon. Minutes passed and Minho was starting to get anxious.
Maybe that whole conversation we had was a dream.
Or maybe he just decided to leave me here.
Or maybe, just maybe, he got stuck in traffic.
Before he could continue thinking of reasons why Taemin was not there already, a boy with strawberry blond hair appeared in front of him.
“Annyeong, Minho hyung.” He said with a shy smile. “A- a- anneyong!” Minho stuttered, shocked by how much Taemin had changed since they last met. He couldn’t tell how exactly Taemin had changed, but somehow, everything felt so different; unfamiliar, like a stranger in disguise.
A few minutes into their conversation, they both started to warm up to each other, and Minho realized that his Love had not changed at all. He was still the young innocent boy he knew and loved.
But was everything still ‘the same’? Why had Taemin suddenly asked to meet Minho?
“Taemin,” Minho suddenly decided to say, “I still love you. You know that, right?”
An awkward silence enveloped the two of them, and Minho was regretting bringing up their past relationship.
“No actually, I don’t. But I don’t have to, because I have Jungmo hyung now. We’re together, by the way, and we’re really happy together.” Taemin said in a soft voice.
The silence was becoming unbearable.
“I'm sorry Minho hyung, but things have changed since two years back. You've changed; I've changed, and I've decided to move on. I hope that you can too. I'm finally happy now, so I hope that you can be happy for me.. And Jungmo hyung. Well I guess I better go now. It was good seeing you, really. We must keep in touch, alright? Bye.” Taemin said in a single breath and rushed out of the café.
-
He doesn’t love me.
He never did.
That’s why I left him, right?
But just now he said that he loves me..
His face when I was leaving the cafe showed that he wasn't lying!
No. I can’t go back.
I never will.
Once Taemin left the café, he ran to an alley where his mind had a battle with itself.
-
Minho stared at Taemin’s figure getting further and further away from the café.
Well there he goes, again.
Minho wanted to run after him, he really did, but something was stopping him. Guilt maybe, since this entire thing was his fault to begin with. Getting back together with Taemin would just be making him suffer more, right?
