It snowed!
It snowed here last night in AZ. Usually it doesn't stick but I woke up this morning and everything was white! Under the snow,however everything was a sheet of ice. I felt kinda bad because when my mom suggested my stepdad take me to work my eyes got really wide and I shook my head nervously. I'd rather my mom take me. He grew up in So. Cali. He has no clue about driving on ice. I kept reminding my mom about stuff the whole way there too. Like when a car is coming to a stop and you're going straight...keep an eye on them. Sure enough, someone was coming to a stop and they skidded the whole way and out onto the main street. It's almost impossible to drive on ice. You just gotta go slow and stay away from everyone. I heard people were flying off the freeway skidding, fish-tailing everywhere. It was crazy! You really can't go more than 15mph on ice. There's just no way. Snow's a little easier. But with ice you can't break too hard, you can't press the gas too hard. Another adventure!
And of course I'm the only one in our building that thought of cleaning the sidewalk for clients and salting it too. Boy, they've got quite the receptionist!
