Good ol' SU...
Well, the day before I left for school, I got a call from Lisa Baer...she told me my hall was being painted, and I couldn't move in yet. Ok, no problem; just move into another room in the building.
I get here yesterday, move my stuff into the 1st floor of the north side of Aikens, including all my shit that was in storage in Reed. Go out to eat and to Wally World. Parents leave. All is good.
At 7:00, we have a meeting with the professional staff, in which they tell us that Aikens has MOLD. Their solution? Tearing out the old ceilings and putting in new ones in the whole building. Which means no one will be moving into the building - not until after fall break at the latest. So, all of us had to move to the southside for the night since they were starting to work on the northside the next day. They are working on it 24/7.
But, I obviously can't stay here more than a few days. I'm homeless!!!! :-( Anyone want to take me in????? I promise I won't infest you with mold! ;-)
But, it seems that some of the students will end up living a hotel for awhile, with a shuttle running between the school and the hotel. Which could be fun, but not with all the stuff I do.
On the random side....I can fit into a suitcase!! :)
