So, I'm done with my work and it's not even lunchtime...my manager is on vaca and the guy I was doing something for (that we were supposed to talk about today) decided to take the day off.
So, I looked for pictures on Google of my building:
One Liberty Plaza is currently the 6th tallest building in Downtown Manhattan. It was build in 1973, has 54 floors and is 743 ft. tall.
And just so you know how close I am to Ground Zero:
I have never seen that building on the corner.
Everyone thought that this building would collapse, but it only sustained minor damage. Zurich offices were moved to Chelsea for about a year. One Liberty Plaza is #6 on the map.
And so that I don't end on a gloomy note, here are the current plans for the rebuilding:
