hey all
you're prolly wondering why i haven't posted in a while, or maybe you aren't, but i'm going to explain it anyway.
the 29th was my best friend's bridal shower. i went to athens for halloween on the 30th. didn't drink much. didn't get drunk, just hung out with good friends and had a good time. the 31st which was a sunday i had a headache, a bad one. i drove andy home to zville and by the time i ate i had a stomach ache, but i wasn't nauceous. i was so cold i had layers of blankets on me, but i was running a fever. andy made me stay at his house that nite cause i was obviously sick and he didn't want me driving. i slept for a while, but was then up most the nite getting sick. my headache just getting worse and worse. i tried to go to class monday but i fell asleep in the lobby at school. i tried to go to work but i was miserable thinking, great i have a 24 hour bug. so i left work early and went home. tuesday my head and stomach were worse so i called off again, thinking my mom was taking me to the hospital but i ended up taking some meds and going to bed. wednesday morning at like 3 am i woke up and felt like i was dying. by 6 am i was in the car by 7 am i was at the hospital with my mom (mount carmel east cause knox community is crap, i'm sorry) anyway. they were going to let me go home with the flu, but one of the nurses there (call it divine intervention if you will) happened to go to church with my uncle, and also had gone hunting with my dad like a year ago, so when he saw me and heard the doc was sending me home he went and had "words" with the E.R. doc who then realized "wow she really is sick".
so... they did a spinal tap which is painful, i don't care what they tell you, and it was clear, so no bacterial menengitis. they ended up admitting me and i was there from wednesday until sunday. my fever got up to 103.9 i think they said and i didn't eat from saturday that i was in athens until sunday that i was in the hospital thats 8 days lol. my arms are now COVERED in bruises from all the blood they took and cause at one point i had 3 I.V.s going at the same time... altho 2 were hooked to the same pump, so i only had 2 sites in my arm. anyway they let me go, but my headaches are still paralyzingly painful and they put my on vicoden for them. so that is why i haven't been online.
oh. i went to the doctor yesterday and he is pretty worried. hes testing me for Mono. yes... mononucleuososisis i know i can't spell. but still. that sucks.
