it only hit my foot and then crashed onto the floor. but it did scare the living shit out of me! i have always been paranoid about a ceiling fan falling on me...but i never thought one actually would! and just last week my landlord and some workers at my house were teasing me, saying, "what are you afraid it's gonna fall on you? that things not going anywhere."
