through my headphones,
as soon as
track #6
comes on, i am dead to
the world around me.
my eyes close,
i get this tight
(but good) feeling in
my stomach,
and i reach my
hands to my ears and
squeeze the headphones into
my ears
until the sound completely
fills my entire
head.

i don't know if i've ever heard anything more beautiful.
