Considering that Kūkaku's day had started out by having to do radio with that idiot Shinigami and later on she had that AV club she'd agreed to help out with, she needed to do some work. Anyone with half a brain should know to take caution in entering office #30 that day, as whatever Kūkaku was working on, it was complex and took up many components scattered around the room. The scent of smoke from her pipe and gunpowder from her work filled the room, made it feel like home, and she was waiting for just the right moment to set off her little show and give herself something nice to bolster her for dealing with teenagers.

AV. Audio/Visual. But Kūkaku knew these kids enough to know to be surprised if they actually stuck with TV and radio. Still, she highly doubted anything they did manage to work out would be as satisfying as just some well-done fireworks.
