I never could figure out all the lyrics to "Worthless", even after getting an mp3 from someone who owned the DVD. The muffled 80's soundtrack and odd accents of some of the cars made it very difficult to make them all out. Couldn't find the lyrics online, either.

FROM WHAT I HEAR the dvd has the lyrics in subtitles, but i don't have the dvd so i'm not sure how accurate they are. i saw someone had tried to transcribe them in a youtube video somewhere too.

even if they're just a little off though those lyrics are hells of depressing

i also heard they changed some of them for the official soundtrack or something?

"The Brave Little Toaster" was so amazingly deep, and made a lot of great commentary about hyper-consumerism, Social Darwinism, and other really asinine, callous values present in the 80's (and even present now, sadly). I've been meaning to see it again as an adult to really catch all the themes I missed as a kid.

yeah, i was thinking about it the other day and watched a clip of it for the first time in. forever. i used to watch it CONSTANTLY as a kid, but it was at that age where most things just sort of went over my head?

and then i understood what a disturbing look it took at things like consumerism and abandonment and all sorts of serious issues

and i realized that the whole worthless sequence is basically people singing about how their usefulness has faded for their peers just before they get murdered on screen

more kids movies like this, please.
