As if anyone read's this anyway...
Just got back from October Weekend last night. It was good. Things decided: Rachel uses her cell phone too much, and we are not allowed to eat meat or cheese in the house (ok sparingly, if at all)
Really, other than those two things which clearly bug me, it was an excellent weekend. A few things did get cleared up. We did have a great weekend. And i feel better about the whole "intentional community" thing.
Love life: non-existant. Something looked like it was starting then that fizzeled. Something else looked like it was beginning, then that crashed and burned. And then I got asked on a date this week, but the guy hasnt called me back about the day, so I'm going with that probably isn't happening. Too sad, he was cute. and a law student at columbia. we'll see.
friends: it's amazing having Bear and Jenn in my city. It helps so much and I feel a lot more sane!! (me? sane... yeah, well... more sane).
Visitors: Kristy (hint hint) mentioned visiting in October. And seh should book her bus now because it would still be cheap... or train is fast but more money. Curt is going to visit in November!!! I am SOOOO excited for this. (not that I'm not excited for Kristy, only we still don't have a weekend yet). And Curt and I are going to go Ice Skating and basically have a pseudo-date. fun times. cannot wait.
But those are the only two, so if anyone else... KATE?... wants to come, let me know.
THanksgiving: I put a lot of thought into this, and against my better judgement I have decided to go to my parents'. They'll be in the new house, and my grandparents will be there. And my brother. So I should. And it's sad to pick a party weekend over family, so I'm picking family. We'll see how this goes. Who's still in the Lancaster/Harrisburg area?
And now 5 minutes left at work and y'all are all caught up. Congratulations if you read this. You get a cookie.
wow... i have a very boring life.
The way I see it
Isn't necessarily
The way you see it
Or the way it is
Or ought to be
What's more important
Is that we're all
Looking for it
And a way to see it
