Just a quick update:
I have been right all along. I live in the shittiest place that ever did shit. We flooded big time (although, not nearly as bad as a lot of other places have and will flood) and the house we just moved in to was real close to the river.
For those interested in a little annoying poetic irony, the house we moved FROM was high and dry. Grrrr. Arg.'
So basically, I'm going to do a massive post in the next few days of the diary I kept while it was happening, from right when we got our evacuation notice up until a couple of days ago. Right now I'm on limited internet and can't take long.
Hope anyone is interested enough to read it through. I don't really want to have to do a cliffnoted timeline. Haha
