yeah, i left america AND the internet behind for two weeks and was amazed by the feeling of tranquility that came over me in their absence. i'm not paying attention to the news anymore either. articulate black president or no, this is still a country of fucking morons. so depressed. i can think of a lot of places to run away to, actually, and while they all have their problems, too, at least you don't feel responsible for them, like these are your people fucking up. something worth considering, anyway. suddenly i am, again...

I'm pretty sure my life is here. Currently going to grad school and getting a degree and license that won't be recognized much anywhere else...
But yeah, I think about it sometimes too since I have french citizenship, it'd be pretty easy for me. But running doesn't always work either. Like you said, all places have their problems...
