Beautiful days before responsibility....
I had such a great day, like, omg. I joined a biker gang for five minutes with my scooter, almost got ran over many times except for my AMAZING driving/avoiding skills, read a bunch of Harry Potter, discovered my new favorite coffee shop ever on 24th st where I think I managed to piss off the staff *as usual*, hung out in the Mission, hung out and had lunch at USF where I got my books, and now I'm waiting for people to call me after dinner.
Hopefully I'll finish the first Potter book tonight. It was short, but SWEET. Much more intriguing then the shitty first movie. Apparently book stores are sold out throughout town. Like, I had to run around to THREE different book stores to find the the second one. Two stores for the first one a couple days ago. J.K. Rowling has to be fingering herself with thousand dollar bills by this point, I mean damn.
I start work/have orientation at the Rainforest Cafe on Monday! My two year dream is finally coming true. 11 bucks an hour for sitting people 4-5 hrs a day. Awesome. I don't know if I'm getting a cut of the tips yet, we'll see. I could have taken a security job also, paid more, but FAR more boring. It sucks though....I think I'll probably be missing out on a concert I wanna attend on the 16th of Sept and I don't know how I'll get off for Lovefest. This place might not be as forgiving and liberal with their days off as the elderly home was, I can only hope. They already made it quite clear that I can't have my hair dyed, sad face. It's only for 4 months until I leave for Germany, so whatever.
