I have been doing a lot of reading lately and I'm starting to see how Aristotle was right, in some respects at least. Nothing compares to a life of contemplation and learning.
All Quiet on the Western Front is an amazing book. I didn't think I was going to like it, but then it made me cry.
Anytime something comes up relating a character in a book or production to their parents it really seems to effect me. It's weird too because I haven't really spent any time with them over the course of the past 3 years. Except for the summer at home, but I working construction and not really attached to ANYTHING in that time period. It's weird to think about, how much I haven't been around them and here I am in my most developmental years....In my opinion anyways.
4 weeks of school left, come'on SUMMER!!! 4-20 next Friday, and I hope it dosen't rain. If it does I totally won't even smoke. That's probably a lie.
