[It's been a long couple of weeks. Between the living nightmares and then ending up lost somewhere on her own away from her traveling party -- although the latter had quite a bit to do with the former -- she's pretty thoroughly exhausted. But at least she's found her way to the next town by some grace of luck... and just in time, because she can't take how hot it's gotten in the past few days.
Once she's gotten a shower to rinse off all the dirt and sweat and found a nice shady tree to park under for the time being, she decides it's about time she tries to find whatever happened to her friends. That she left behind. God, she feels terrible.
