Crediting for Icons
So I noticed that there's some people using Icons that I have made, but they haven't credited me. Now, don't get me wrong, I think that's great, I'm glad. But icons take along time to get images, crop, edit, upload, so it would be nice to be credited for them.
So I made anyone who cares a little 'How to' guide to adding credits to UserPics.
Here at Livejournals FAQ Question #67, you can find the code you need to add a user link.
The highlighted code above is the one You need to use.
Then paste the code you have copied into Your Edit Pics page. There is two boxes, one for Keywords, and the one under it is for Comments. Paste the code into the Comments box! Making sure that you change 'exampleusername' to the actual username of the person who made the Icon.
And VOILA! There you have it, the person is now credited on your Userpics page.
It's VERY simple, really, and respectful to the person who spent all their time and effort making the icons.
ALSO, people, make sure you save your icons as .PNGs, or else they lose their quality and look bleh. =)
