Jin's not the type to wait - Yamapi knows this. Jin's the type who eyes the first hot girl he sees (and what makes a girl hot to Jin isn't something Yamapi gets; that girl the other night wasn't hot at all but Jin had said something about her eyes and Yamapi had left it at that) and he'd make a beeline to her, smile, and that'll be it.
Jin is easy, after all (easy to catch, easy to pick up).
Yamapi's pickier. It's not because he wants to be - honestly, he didn't even notice he was doing it until Ryo pointed it out to him; but he goes for girls who laugh a certain way.
"And by that, you mean like Jin," Ryo says, rolling his eyes. "You're both so stupid".
Yamapi half-shrugs and doesn't answer him; but from now on, he keeps track of it.
The first night out for the week, Jin's picked a tiny slip of a thing, with dark, liquid eyes and crooked teeth. She's cute. The muscles in his neck freeze up and he takes Ryo's tequila shot and downs it.
(For once, Ryo doesn't even bother to roll his eyes.)
When he comes across a girl he likes, he steps back. Thinks. She's tall - taller than him, even, and it's her collarbones he likes; the sharp hollows and milky skin, and when she laughs, it's partly shy and partly confident, and he remember Ryo's words.
"You like them because they're like Jin."
He gives Ryo a mental 'fuck off' and slides in next to her, his arm draping over her waist, resting his hand warmly on the small of her back. She licks at his lips, eyes dark.
The next night out, Yamapi doesn't bother to go.
The third night out, Jin's brought along the same girl from the first night. It's unusual for him to get attached to any of them - he never does, but he calls her "Kara-chan" and hangs onto her the whole night long, and when she makes eyes at Jin, Yamapi ignores them.
He gets shit stinking drunk that night, too, and Ryo's the one who drags him home. He mutters something about 'idiocy' and 'fucking retards,' but his hands are gentle when they manoeuvre Yamapi into the taxi, and he lets Yamapi stick his head into the curve of his shoulder and breathe quietly against his skin.
When Ryo finally gets them home, he dumps Yamapi in bed, and Yamapi clasps a hand around Ryo's wrist. "Jin," he murmurs, and Ryo's just surprised enough to let himself fall back onto Yamapi's bed.
"Don't be stupid," Ryo says when Yamapi slides his hands down his back, thumbs tucking into the waistband of his jeans.
"Please," Yamapi says.
"Don't," Ryo says in a strangled voice, eyes squeezed shut, and when Yamapi looks at him, really looks, and even with the haze of alcohol, he recognises that this is Ryo, and Ryo's one of his best friends, and he shouldn't do this to Ryo because he knows, he knows, he doesn't care enough to stop.
“Ryo,” he says breathily, and there’s something bitter about the laugh Ryo lets out, but when Yamapi pushes into him, he sucks in a shaky breath, fingers tense on Yamapi's arms. His eyes are sharp when they stare at Yamapi and Yamapi can't look at him anymore, so he fucks Ryo with his eyes closed, and when he comes, he carefully bites down on his lip and doesn't say any names.
The next morning, he reminds himself not to look at the bite marks he left on Ryo's neck, and when Jin laughs and asks about 'Ryo's wild night', waggling his eyebrows lewdly, Ryo doesn't say a word, and when Yamapi pokes at himself in the mirror, he hates himself just a little more.

Seriously, I don't know why you think this is bad. You're writing some killer angst this week, and it makes me sad, but it's really good, and askdjhsdkgjsfhdkgjfg I have no coherence right now but I really like this. *flails*
