On the topic of current default user pics
To all of you who are being issued suspension notices.
LJ Abuse is only following the *current* FAQ.
While I don't agree with what it is, it has not been changed as of yet. Any changes that are going to take place with the FAQ will not be immediate. There are many people that have to be involved in the finaly say as well as the final wording.
If your default user pic violates the *current* FAQ, I have no leverage to help that right now.
If you are suspended, ALL of your posts you have EVER made will be removed. Those of you who are Moderators, or who have contributed significantly to communities, please know that ALL of those comments will be removed. Please consider that when you decide whether or not to change your default user icon that is being targeted.
There are going to have to be some concessions on BOTH sides in order to make this work. One of those is that we are going to have to play by the *current* rules if we want to keep up the trust that has been built between us and SixApart.
