I was looking for movie times for "The Strangers" last night and what do I stumble across?
Dr. Strangelove playing at midnight in The fairfax regent! AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
I'd never seen it on the big screen before, and needless to say the super old movie palace theater + the awesome crowd made it one of the best movie experiences of my life.
I fucking love that movie so goddamn much. It is so SO SO fucking good.
Totally awesome night. Plus a hobo tried to get me to go home with him (i'm assuming to his box), then upon finding out that I sadly already had a boyfriend, turned to Luke, called him an "ugly mother fucker" and started mumbling about how he was a boxer and was going to fight him and take me back- caveman style. It was pretty hilarious considering the guy was max 5'2" and wearing two different shoes. That and the drag queens dancing outside a nearby club made the evening totally awesome.
