People in michigan are pretty freakin' nice. It's really amazing, everyone seems really geniunely interested in you, and how you are doing and actually helping you out- unlike a lot of californians who seem either too good, or too pissed off to be bothered with your concerns. They even have computers in hotels for free (which is good for those of us sans laptops, like myself) so I can check my internets and not feel so damn isolated from lovely warm california.
btw, i'm in michigan. I kinda forgot to tell a lot of people, but yeah. I'm at the NATIONAL RABBIT SHOW!!!!
because, fuck yes, i'm that cool. It's been insane- it's one of the biggest national conventions in years. I'm going to post some sweet pictures tomorrow of how many rabbits there are (about 24,000!!!) Tomorrow is the actuall show- and the competition is fucking ridiculous... In one of my classes there are 89 other rabbits---normally there are AT MOST like 6. Yeah. It's INSANE. There are 1700 Netherland Dwarfs, so we'll see how I do.
It's fucking freezing here-it rained all day today, which was pretty lame. Michigan is alright, my mom and I went into a condo open house today on a whim, and I wanted to cry. For the same amount we paid for my cockroach infested condo in the ghetto, in michigan you can buy a 1400 sqaure foot 2 bedroom condo WITH A ROOF TOP DECK WITH YOUR OWN FUCKING SPA. It was so sad. but I guess you have to live in michigan, not LA.
They have awesome malls here, mainly because there ain't shit to do here, and my mom always feels particuarlly generous on this trip so i got a shit ton of new clothes and like 5 pairs of new shoes, which pleases me as all my current shoes were lost in the move or are beat to shit....so i'm rather pumped. Also it's weird because even when it's raining out people stand in the rivers (there are a ton of huge rivers running randomly through the city) fishing for salmon....and i've never seen them catch anything. It's weird.
on another rather lame note: i had a dream about hellboy (my favorite comic book) last night (i dreamed that there were two secret issues that i got to read that no one else had) and i woke up and was actually dissapointed that it was a dream. Then i realized i'm a giant nerd and i should probably slit my wrists.
oh, and we just moved into a nice hotel (we had to stay in this shitty one for the first two nights because of a mix-up in reservations) and it's awesome (not only for the computers) but also because i'm pretty sure our old hotel was haunted--- the bathroom door had obviously been kicked in at somepoint and every time i took a shower, when i came out there was a HUGE handprint in the fog on the mirror....it kind of freaked me out.
Well, anyway, this comptuer room is almost closed and I have to go back up to my room now because I have to be up at 6:00 am and it's 11:00 here now, and man, i've got some MOTHER FUCKING RABBITS TO SHOW!
