Last Thursday, I spent the entire day baking, in preparation for Thanksgiving weekend festivities. I recently bought my own copy of this cool vegan recipe book called "How it all Vegan" (I saw it on Han's coffee table, and loved it so much, I just had to get it). I love vegan baking! I swear, it's way easier to bake with egg-free doughs, because they are way less sticky, and vegan pie crusts roll out like a dream - thinly, and without breakage!
I ended up making two batches of vegan carob chip cookies, a batch of vegan carob-pecan brownies, a batch of vegan blueberry-banana muffins, and three vegan pumpkin pies.
So far, all of my vegan baked good have been a success. Chris' favourite are my carob chip cookies. He claims they taste rich and peanut-buttery, even though there is no peanut butter in the recipe. He also claims that he can't tell that the chocolate isn't real. Go figure!
