Pilates in jeans

Yesterday was the typical sleep-in-till-noon kind of day, which is starting to get old. I forget what morning looks like. Anyway, I went to Leon's soon after to talk with him and everyone else there about his "Pirates vs. Ninjas" movie. Sounds like a fun goof, plus, I'd be the Pirate Captain. Afterward, I went directly to the gym for a bit to lift heavy things. It seems kind of odd to drive about 20 minutes to get somewhere to lift some stuff then put it down and repeat, but whatever. I do what I do. Got home, showered, memorized a potential monologue, and then Lexi called me to invite me to dinner with her family. That was fun. Joking with her dad and coming on to her stepmom. Just a good old fashioned family dinner at Claimjumper. I went from there to Briana's house for the movie night. Of course, it was already 9:00 by that time, but a movie night's a movie night, no matter how late you are. I brought Angel Heart. It was good. Fairly freaky, but good. Robert De Niro and Mickey Rourke. Plus the best chicken blood-covered sex scene this side of New Orleans.

My mom woke me up early this morning so we could go to the Italian consulate in La Jolla to get my Italian passport. There was a bit of bureacratic red tape. It was a little confusing, but basically, it turns out that there was some law where you need to declare a citizenship after marriage, which my mom didn't do. So she's basically been living with a null Italian passport as well as an American one. It was complicated. They were saying she would have to live in Italy for 6 months to renew it, but I think there was a way around it. Silly Italian laws. After that, we grabbed some food at Jimbo's and then went to my mom's Pilates trainer. My mom hadn't told me we were going there en route from the consulate so I only had jeans on. I had to pull them past my belly button to do some of the Pilates moves. But it was fun. I should start doing it regularly. After that, we picked up the twins and brought them home.

And now you're up to date. Lucky you. Really. I mean it. I'm jealous. I wish I could read this blog. It's just that fascinating. I mean, it really is, isn't it? Fascinating, I mean. So there you have it.
