You'd think that with school over there'd be a lot less stress to bear, right? But no, it's about the same, maybe higher. There's just so much to do. I mean Christmas alone; 6 presents to get just for my immediate family. I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet. Hopefully, I'll do most of it today. Meanwhile, it doesn't look like I'll be going to the Amazon because it would take too long to get my visa and it conflicts with the acting stuff I have planned. And I'm going to LA tomorrow, which should be fun, but it takes up time. Don't even get me started on who I'm supposed to hang out with because it's been so long. So many obligations. Someday I'll go to the Amazon and just stay there. Adopt a tribe of Yanomamo. They're supposed to be fun. The men wear string belts that they attach their foreskins to.
Yesterday was more or less your typical day. Gym, then off to pick up Alexandra from her friend's house. On the way home, I rented Murderball and When Night Falls. I watched Murderball and it was pretty good. For those who don't know, it's a documentary about wheelchair rugby and the paralympics. Then I spent about an hour trying to submit my essay for the NYU application but my browser doesn't seem to want to leave for New York, so it didn't cooperate. I watched Arrested Development then left for a 10:00 showing of Brokeback Mountain at La Jolla Village with Matt and Ashton. The movie was pretty good, but I felt it was missing something. There were a lot of instances in the movie where Ashton had a very delayed response, hence the title. Afterward, the three of us spent around half an hour in the parking lot just goofing around and whatnot. There should be a lovely picture of Matt on his myspace soon enough.
