16) the well of lost plots
books in the works: get your war on ii (it's an advance reader copy), the last temptation of christ, the name of the rose (again), reefer madness (i'm two-thirds of the way through, but to be honest, i've only been reading it in the bathroom out in the guest house), what to expect when you're expecting (another one that i'm not flying through, just picking up when it seems appropriate)
books on the shelf wondering if they will soon be in the works: the ring, olivia joules and the overactive imagination (which probably doesn't stand much of a chance, but i got it for free, so, it's there), magical thinking (also an arc), and bad grass never dies (sequel to confessions of a dangerous mind)... and that's not all--we got lots of free books at waldenbooks this week, along with $30 giftcards to buy more books! employee appreciation. not that they'll be appreciating me much longer... next monday will be my last day there, at least as far as working and getting paid for it (i might drop in for megan's birthday on thursday)--pregnancy is catching up with me! but i'm finding other outlets for productivity/creativity--i've been crocheting (for real, with a needle and everything), and i'd like to sometime make more jewelry with the rock candy designers. also, i'm going to take better care of myself with yoga and aquacise classes at joey's gym. and i'm going to go to bed earlier. like, now. (or should i watch the end of quantum leap??)
