Hi everyone!
It's been a bit since I've posted on any of my sites. Since then I have finished all my finals, packed everything up, spent time with my luva (who is now my boyfriend *beams*), and moved back home. It's been a trip, that's for sure.
I found out today that i got a B in geography which gives me a 3.6 this semester and a 3.4 overrall. I'm excited about making the Dean's list... just not so excited that I could have worked just the tiniest bit harder and had major bragging rights with a 4.0 (all I had to do was go to the Aquarium, look a lil harder for the answers on that final, turn in the assignment i missed in geo and studied for that final). Makes me sick how close I was, but I guess I shouldn't worry about that anymore. Nothing more I can do.
The transition to home life has been interesting (for lack of a better word). I haven't unpacked much. I want to repaint my room so that puts a MAJOR project full of work in my future. I'm glad I am going to work soon, provided I am accepted. It will give me a chance to get out of the lazy routine i have already created. I leave for Mississippi in about a week, which will mix things up well.
My existance as a college student was confirmed last night. I went to my high school's band banquet (since my family was already going for my lil bro) and I saw some things and felt some things that hadn't happened before. Really put me in my place. Like right after I stepped through the front doors of the school, I said to Kathy "I want to leave" to which she replied "the moment you get here, you know its a bad idea" (sorry if you were misquoted, correct me). That night reassured me that going off to college was no mistake. I've had some time to reflect in the past couple of days and that seems to be the unwavering truth.
Alas, I have left the college world to enter the world of Woodstock (summer edition).
This summer will be like no other.
Hopefully better than any other!
Love to all!
'specially my baby : D
