Monday I decided to go for a nice little walk during my 4 hour 40 minute lunch break, down to the Ford Estate it is. I wanted to see just how stupidly large of a lot this guy had; even after he donated more than half of his land to build 2 colleges on. I started out by not listening to these signs that were all around my school, you can see it down there in my pictures. This is a guy who has a stone garage 2 times the size of my house, a gatehouse, a servant house, and a mansion next to a 100 foot wide man made waterfall. I walked down his back yard, which is a good city block long of just grass, then there's a lake of equal size at the end of that. I kept walking, in a straightish line for at least 20 minutes before the trail ended up at a river and just stopped. I found my way back to the nearest piece of civilization, which ended up being about a mile from where I started on the campus of Henry Ford Community College. What a friggen tycoon.
Also, my school has a creepy organic garden. It reminds me of Silent Hill.
