Is this what it feels like to be grown up?

First the bad news: I broke the water softener and the guy I sold my car to wants a refund(too bad so sad). The water is still black. Curling was postponed a week. I am mildly sick.

Now the good news: Jeff Scott, CIO of the Permanent Dividend, gave me $5 for "being bold" and told me I was going places. Me! Going places! Can you imagine? Next week I am having dinner with Sam Enoka, a San Fransisco based ridiculously successful investor.
I joined SSS and they loaned me a laptop for the semester. Awesome. This will help beyond measure. Classes are going really really well. I'm working hard in all of them and hope for straight A's this semester to prove that I can work hard. Capoeira is fun but difficult. It's tough not to get frusterated at myself and go pout. Even tougher not to kick someone. They're a good group though and very patient.
Adam's family invited me down to Indiana for Thanksgiving with them. I must have made a good impression because they're flying me down and everything. I think I finally believe him when he says he'd rather follow than lead. Perfect.
The Marketing internship I got is getting started. 99% sure I only got the job because I worked in the cafeteria a couple years ago. Who knew that would one day help? They even remember me! I guess they don't get very many reliable people coming through there. Other job is going well too. I'm so efficient they decided not to hire another worker like originally planned.
Also going to apply to graduate with leadership honors. Hope I make it!
Did you know KSUA has all the music I couldn't find for months??! I thought my head was going to explode with the combination of having a laptop and access to fantastic music
