So I didn't get to update about all the *juicy* details of my date with Duane, mostly due to my extreme exhaustion after the day. So I'll start from the begining and tell everything! :-D
So, I wake up at like 6:50am and call Christina Shilling to ask if she could bring me to GR with her and Chelsea. They obviously agreed and I called Duane... told him to meet me in front of Kendall at about 8:20am. So, at like 7am they arrived... I had no time to prepare... but I went anyways. I didn't look as great as I know I could have... but it was okay.
So, after a drive that seemed to take forever, we arrive in Grand Rapids and take the city bus to Kendall College. I sat in between two "career women" and they had their little pant-suits on and their Double Lattes... it was great.
Well, we arrive to Kendall and as I'm getting off a woman approaches me, someone I thought I recognized, but I wasn't going to say anything to her. Well... it was Sonya! I think her last name is now Joslyn... I'm not sure tho. Anyways, taht was cool.
So, I'm sitting out in front Kendall waiting... and he pulls up. I stand up and start walking to his car, a big smile on my face... it was one of those moments you catch in a movie... there was the business and rush of people all around me, yet I walked in slow motion over to the car... we caught each other's eyes... and it was amazing! :-D
We decided on breakfast, so we're driving to go eat (meanwhile I'm so lost... seemed like we were going in circles) and chatting the whole way there. It was great. Well... we park the car, and the neighborhood we were in was one with like all the buildings on either side of the street connected... and we went to this little French cafe... Le Cafe Cherie. Ooh, I about creamed my fuckin pants right then!
The cafe was so quaint, and cute, and FRENCH! AAH! :-D He got the "European Breakfast..." which ended up being bacon, eggs, and fruit. I had a cheese omlette and toast. :-D He paid for everything too... which was so cool. Even tho I would have insisted I pay if I had money.
So, after the most amazing breakfast ever with the best conversation ever... we headed to the museum.
The museum wasn't all that great... mostly because the both of us were really tired, mind you, it's like 9am when we go to the museum. But, nonetheless... it was nice.
After the museum we were going to go to the John Ball Zoo, but we decided to go chill at his house. So, that's what we did.
We got to his house at about 11:30, and decided to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force. So, we were cuddling up on the couch and what-not, watching ATHF, and... I just don't really know what happened, but we just started to kiss. ::big sigh:: There were fireworks... only not like the Twin Lake ones... like a huge expensive mega-show! It was amazing! Best kisses ever! :-D
Ha, his sister almost walked in on us making out... that would have been disasterous... but she didn't come in, she just talked to him thru the door. Anyways... we ended up both falling asleep... and when we woke up again, we kissed a lot more. :-D
Eventually around like 6 or so he brought me home. The ride back wasn't too exciting... we were both really tired.
So... I had the most amazing time ever... he's so perfect! :-D It just sucks that he's gotta live in Grand Rapids... I can't wait until I get a job... which should be soon... and I can go visit him as much as I want! :-D
