While I'm in the midst of general dorkitude already, recs & a new comm for SPN 4.17 pairing
So, since I watched SPN 4.17 a few days late, I knew that there would have already been Smith/Wesson fic written before I even knew I wanted it. And I was right. I'm still wanting the 'true' Smith/Wesson where the angels never pull the big reveal (or there is no reveal to reveal), and they find themselves slowly pulled into hunting despite themselves, and have to learn how to become hunters like normal people would, and are possibly quite bad at it and almost get themselves killed, and Dean's all "man, can't we just go back to having normal jobs, I miss my espresso machine," and Sam's all "no, man, we have a destiny, I can just feel it, and don't try to lie to me, you thought killing that demon the other day was kickass" and Sam comes to appreciate Dean's neurotic need to research when it saves their lives and Dean starts secretly listening to classic rock when no one else is around and likes it, and quite probably at some point they meet the Ghostfacers and are total fanboys.
Ahem. Anyway.
