1. Watched Elementary last night. It was... fine? I mean, I'll always have a soft spot for Jonny Lee Miller (Hackers for the win) and there was nothing really to hate. There was nothing really to love, either. None of the actors seemed to have chemistry together and the plot was just meh. I'm glad they're not trying to make it into Sherlock, the US version, but that's not gonna make me actually make a point to watch it.
2. The season finale of Leverage was surprisingly serious, in a good way. I've always disliked the episodes where they tried too hard to be madcap, so I hope this is a trend that continues. Chris Kane did a great job with the deepening of his character.
3. I'm partway through watching Copper, which speaking of serious, holy cow none of these characters are good guys. Apparently it was done by the guy who did Oz, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Great acting, great writing, and as far as I can tell although I'm not an expert on mid-nineteenth century New York, the historical detail is pretty good.
