That fandom involvement meme
First TV show I had self-insertion fantasies about:
I don't remember having self-insertion fantasies that much; I did like to imagine new adventures in a setting, or more details about a character that didn't get that much airtime. As far as early canon loves, one of the few TV shows my family watched was MacGuyver, and I thought he was pretty dreamy.
First fandom in which I interacted (online and in person) with other fans:
HL:TS
Pairing in the first slash fanfiction I read:
Duncan/Methos. Totally blew my innocent 18-yo mind.
First RPS/RPF I read:
Hmm. Probably C6D something - @ that point there was still a lot of disapproval of RPS in dS circles so it was all locked or hard to find. The first RPS pairing that ever really resonated with me was Hugh/Callum, after HCL.
First fanfiction I read that made me think, YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...
Maybe something from Viridian5? Probably there was something earlier, from the HL folks, but I don't remember anyone's name or a story title.
Pairing in the first fanfiction I wrote:
I wrote a (in retrospect, totally embarrassing) Enterprise story that never saw the light of day (Malcolm/Trip, iirc). That might have been the first, or maybe I did some little HL oneshots?
