New ratings
I just went through and changed all the ratings on my fics to ones from the Fan Rated Rating System, which goes as follows, with optional additions:
FRC - Fan Rated Suitable For Children
FRT - Fan Rated Suitable For Teenagers
FRM - Fan Rated Suitable For Mature Persons
FRAO - Fan Rated Suitable For Adults Only
The MPAA is creepy on several levels, and I’d prefer not to promote any of their intellectual property, whether or not it’s likely I’d get sued. I’ve been seeing these ratings out and about more these days, so I’m hoping that they’re familiar to an increasing number of readers. I added a note on my fic index, too.
