Early this year, I receive notification from the IRS that they were investigating my 2006 tax return. I owed them well over $600, the paperwork said.
There has been a lot of paperwork flying back and forth since then as part of the process. I asked my Dad to help and he figured that I really owed about $80, so I paid that and kept the paperwork going as I contested the rest. Oh my, so much paperwork.
Every time that I'd get an envelope from the IRS in my mailbox, I'd hope that it would hold the final word for me. Today, I got that envelope.

Just don't think too closely about how many tax dollars were spent to track down my measly $87 bucks. Hahahaha!
