Thank you to marliah for this particular video piece. I want to preface it with her words, which I couldn't have better said myself: "I love this man, not for what he will do, but for what he won't."

Quite a while ago, a friend asked me to please explain what exactly it is that I hoped Dr. Paul would do with the presidency if he was to win it. It took me way too long to get back to her ... sometimes I think really slowly, and other times I'm afraid of confrontation. But the answer is simple. I'm more looking forward to what Dr. Paul would not do with the presidency than what he would do.

What so many people don't understand is that there is a clear job description for the office of president and it's all in the Constitution of the United States (Article II). Also, there is a clear boundary for the reach of the federal government, and it's spelled out for us to read in the Bill of Rights (10th Amendment). In past years and decades, there's been a trend to ignore these instructions ... which are the law ... and if you look at any area in which the nation seems to be "troubled," there is a direct correlation to where the law has been broken and ignored.

I'm confident that Dr. Paul is the best educated candidate out there when it comes to the duties of the presidency and the federal government in general, and I know that he understands the laws of our land and that he has the character to follow them. Paraphrased from one of his speeches: "I don't want to rule the world; I don't know how to rule the world! And I don't want to run your life; I don't know how to run your life! Yes, we need a strong president, one who is strong enough to resist the temptation to grab for power."

He's still my guy ... Ron Paul for president!
