valentine's day
Because moneysocal and I were both on the flu-induced-anorexia diet last week, we postponed our Valentine's Day date until last night. Let me tell you, Gerry is a creative guy! He came up with the idea for us to hook up our webcams, cook the same meal from the same recipe, have dinner together, and then watch the same movie together. I had the not-so-creative idea for us to dress up. (Pst, Gerry's pretty handsome when dressed up.)
Since we talk with each other every day, it was pretty special to just be with each other doing something fun. There was no pressure to keep up a conversation.
We pulled it off without any disasters! The Italian wedding soup would probably have been a bit tastier if we'd eaten it from a can, it would have been nice if we'd synched our viewing of Lady In The Water better by just a second, and I sure would have appreciated if Debbie hadn't hung out and third-wheeled the event ... but ... all-in-all, it wasn't bad!
