spilling the beans
A little more than a year ago, my friend lajea suggested that I get to know her "adopted" brother, who's moneysocal here on LiveJournal. (And looking back, I suspect that banzai had his fingers in the deal somehow as well.) For a long time, it was just the normal back-and-forth banter of a typical LJ relationship. I thought Gerr was nice, but I also didn't think of him as being quite entirely real.
I will simply say that, throughout the past couple of months, things have changed. :-)
We've been joking around about being part of a mutual admiration society. Last week Gerr approached me about limiting membership in our "club" to just us two, with the founding principles being:
In plain English, what this means is that we are seeing each other, dating, courting, or whatever term you want to attach to the concept. Although I am partial to the terminology of us having our own "club." :-) I like him, he likes me, and we're investigating what the future might hold for us! I'm full of butterflies and stoked all at the same time.
Gerry and I crave God's presence in our lives and at the head of this relationship, and as such, covet your prayers. If you think of us, pray for us. And pray that God's will be done here on earth as it is done in heaven!
Now you know the reason I spend 4-5 hours on my phone each Sunday. It's date day. :-)
