Story for my little adventure today: Today I was down by the river by an old house from the turn of the century. This house is going to be ripped down shortly because it is too far gone, and no one lives in it any more. I was pokin around by the river bank by the house and found a little piece of glass sticking out of the ground. I started digging out the piece of glass and it turned out to be an old Mason jar. I took it to the antique store and got it appraised. The jar was made between 1900-1910 and is hand blown. It is also worth about $50.

Moral of the story: everyone should explore old houses and their property for stuff. its fun.
