Day Care
Well Ethan had his first day today at the day care. He didn't cry when I left which was good. Especially since I cried all night thinking about him getting so big and going to day care/preschool. I checked on him twice, they said he did just fine. I hope he continues to do good. I know all kids have their bad days. I just hope he finds it more fun than not. I don't think I could bare finding somewhere else to take him. They say it takes about 5-6 weeks for kids to acclimate. Joseph called when he got off work and asked if I wanted to pick Ethan up with him. Of course I did. We went to pick him up. He was sitting with the other kids taking turns on the computer. When we got there he saw me and ran saying mommy, mommy!! I wrapped my arms around him and asked if he had fun. All he could do was kiss and hug. Finally he answer that he did have fun, but of course did not want to go back tomorrow. He was exhausted. They have nap time but he would not take a nap. Within one minute of being in the car he was asleep.
In his class they are called penguins. He said to me "hey mommy, I was a penguin today." I had to laugh, it was so cute.
