At home, I search up your name, Seo Joo Hyun, and your group, Shou Jo Ji Dai. I wonder how you are doing in Japan. Are you using my notebook well? I flip through the pages of that book in my mind. Did I miss anything? Did I write down everything that will make your stays in Japan more comfortable?
I click a link that goes to a video of you laughing with the other girls. Your eyes are still as bright. Your smile is still as pure. Unknowingly, I am smiling as well, like a fool. I think back to our times together and am only brought back when the laptop screen turns black due to inactivity. I see my reflection with that smile still on my face. Did I smile like this in front of you too? Was I like this too in front of the camera, every time I was with you? Things seem to be too obvious, with this look on my face. I wonder if you ever noticed.
I reach over to the cup of iced coffee Jonghyun bought. My hand pauses. "Really though, didn't you hear what the doctor said? You should cut down on iced coffee and chewing ice..." I withdraw my hand as your pristine voice continues to echo in my mind. Moving the mouse, the laptop screen brightens and I see your face on the paused video. I smile nostalgically.
