Ahhh, we lost. :( But Spain was obviously superior, so their win was very much deserved, and they were gracious about it. ^^ As it is, the Spanish fans in Germany put a smile on my face as I was going home from public viewing because they were so boisterously and contagiously happy about this historical win. :D I can't help but wish them luck in the finale!
And, well, we sucked. Badly. Everyone wondered where the wonderful team from the earlier games had vanished to. We all know that they can actually play (and I guess in the last ten minutes, they did), but somehow, self-esteem seemed to be really low and they were so incredibly lazy about running to free themselves from opponents that it's no wonder the attacks didn't work out. That, and Spain pushed hard. What I liked, though, was that looking at the ref, it was a fair game all in all. There were some situations that we got very annoyed about, but I liked how he managed to control the game without resorting to a bazillion cards (we actually theorized that he left his cards at home and just didn't want anybody to know xD).
All things considered, it's also not too bad that we lost because now we're playing on Saturday, not Sunday, so I will be over any result on Monday when I have two exams. xD
But, onto more happy topics! :D
Day 11 - A song from your favorite band
Who might that be? xD It's You is one of my absolute favorites by Super Junior because I'm a sucker for the combination of catchy rhythms and rather mushy melodies and texts. Also, the chest popping choreography must be the next best thing after the invention of chocolate because that generally causes lots of starry eyes and drooling... I think there are three version of the MV out there (normal, dancing, and the story-thingy), but I chose the normal one because I think it's cut rather nicely. It was actually rather hard to choose one SuJu song for this category and I think I might have changed it around at least five times, but in the end, It's You deserves this category (and there's still more SuJu to come, so it's alright).
