Something definitely has to be done on my laptop, it's horrible, really. I very, very, carefully tried to watch the first episode of Beautiful Life today, letting the vids load fully first and then shutting down all other processes that weren't needed, even letting the computer run on battery because it seems to like that better, but it still died on me after less than half of the ep. ;___; This sucks so bad I don't even have words to express it.
So, I only watched a careful selection of performance vids of any band during the last couple of days, and then only in awful 360p because my laptop is prone to die whenever I go above that. HD is an absolute no-go right now, 480p can be okay when I have the window open to help along with the cooling, let it run on battery and let the vid load fully and shut down most of the other processes. I'm slowly going insane with the amount of careful handling my laptop needs right now. I mean, I have days where I'm afraid it'll shut down on me any second when I'm only logging into my e-mail account. DDD: And seriously, I don't want to freeze every time I need to type up something for college because it could happen that otherwise I'll suddenly sit in front of a black screen in the middle of writing. -.-''
... I'm sorry for the whiny entry, I just feel so frustrated right now. This really takes the fun out of fandom. But, well, I'll also write something more positive so that this ends on a cheery note. xD
What I did manage to watch in bad quality - but hey, I'm telling myself that I at least got to watch it! - were some of the latest MuBa performance videos. Still no Kyu for "Bonamana," which was sad, but they apparently gave Minnie a new haircut (as fair as I could make out through the grainy pixels) and I think it'll either look much better in high quality or I'll get used to it because right now, I'm a bit D: at the loss of his nice swishy-flippy cut that really made his face very beautiful. The performance wasn't all that great despite being live because at times during the chorus you could only hear Yesung or Leeteuk singing and I was wondering what the rest was doing or if stupid people turned down their mikes for some reason. The Kyu substitutes did their best again, but I still missed him so badly because he sings his lines in such a special way that it's just not the same when someone else does (and you know, this is why he outsings most singers whenever he covers their songs for whatever reason, lol). Also, the dance break is lacking with just three people... ;___; But Heechul's mistake in the middle of the song when he wanted to do the normal chorus instead of the cut version was really endearing. Heenim, we wanted to have the long version as well! <33
I also watched C.N. Blue's performance. It wasn't the best I've ever seen from them, but solid enough, and, well, I really like the song. ^^ It gets stuck in my head whenever I listen to it and somehow, it always makes me smile. I like how they have a Jpop feeling to them and how they manage to merge together parts that you don't think would work together, but they just make it work. So much talent put into four people, it's amazing. :D And while I really love Yonghwa's singing and his absolutely amazing rapping and overall talent (gah!), I can't help but falling for Jonghyun's voice over and over and over again everytime I hear him sing. It's hopeless, I'm being sucked in. T_T
The last vid I watched was Infinite's performance. <3 It was so refreshing to look at how the boys threw themselves into the performance, it really was a pleasure to watch them. I'm not sure about the song yet, though, this was the first time I actually listened to it and being focused on the dancing, I couldn't form much of an opinion about it. >.< I'll look at the performance again, though, because they look like they're worth following a bit.
So many debuts in general going on right now. I'd love so much to watch the vids and some perfomances at least once, but can't. ;___;
Ah, well, there's still the World Cup. :D Tomorrow is Germany's first game, we're up against Australia. I watched the first game, South Africa vs. Mexico yesterday and we rooted for South Africa on a whim and had a blast. xD It was fun to watch, too bad South Africa didn't win, though. And this afternoon, South Korea was up against Greece, that was great to watch as well. :D It was impressive how fast and controlled Koreas was with their play, they passed the ball with such speed that the poor Greeks had trouble keeping up sometimes. They definitely earned their win. ^^ Now I'm all hyped up about watching our first game, going out for public viewing with friends tomorrow! :D
