More Random Information and things:

Congrats to Tina and Veto!!!!   The wedding was absolutely beautiful.  I cried.  It was perfect!

My roommates are all changing, but it's okay.  I deal well with change.  I'll miss people, but I'll make wonderful new friends too.

It was great to be back in Indy this weekend, for the wedding, and the company.  It's always good to get together with people and just be for a while.  Kyle and Zach's new place is pretty sweet.  It's good to see that my friends have turned into successful normal people.  Seeing the Amandas and Chris is always a good time.  I can never complain about the joys of spending time with Brian, of course, either.  But it was also good to see some of the other people at the wedding like Ms. Riddle, Yusaku and Paul, John Day, M-squared, G-love and Jen, Dave and Jo, that I never really see much of anymore, but I do think and care about.

This summer has been going well.  I'm becoming more comfortable with my PI job, though I don't know that I'll do it permanently, but it's not as much crap as it was to begin with.  I've had lots of time to sit and think about life and the world and politics and general existential ideas.  Trust me, being inside my head is a very interesting thing.  Had a dream where Clay Aiken turned into James Spader, we won't even talk about what else was going on in that dream...very WEIRD!  I've also been getting a few more enjoyable books under my belt.

It's good to know what's going on with the school thing finally, just a big weight off my shoulders.  Next up, schedule what I'll be doing (or rather, who I'll be visiting) during all those wonderful scheduled breaks.  I need to find some time when I can actually go home for a bit (home home) and really spend some time with my family.  I haven't even gotten to see my nephew since his accident.  He's finally out of the hospital but they don't know if he'll ever hear out of one ear again or when he'll regain the feeling in his face.  He was pretty beat up, and the fact that he's alive is a miracle in itself.  But that was a big blow for the whole family.  So, everyone is a little better now that Jered is out of danger.  It was like there were these 2 months of just completely insanity and unrest in most of the facets of my life and everything has finally resolved itself.  And I can breathe!

Now, it's time for dessert and celebration. YAY!
