Week in Review
Livi made me spend lots of money ;) I bought two new purses (thankfully one was ridiculously cheap from TJ Maxx) and a new perfume. Ralph Lauren HOT...Sexxxxxxxxxxy....let me tell you. We ate some good food, took some more sweet pictures. Liv's got an awesome new burberry perfume. And somewhere in the middle of class, sightseeing, and general sweetness we also found time for Grey's Anatomy season 1, Sex and the City season 6 (part two), AND solving existential crises! We're damn awesome!
I worked like a mofo after Livs left wed....Wed, Thurs, and Friday evenings...why you ask? Because I'm just that cool. Or I was making up for the time I didn't work Yesterday (sat.) Thursday night though was funtimes. After work, Shawn and I took a trip up the road to the Beantown Pub for a few beers to relax. He's a cool kid, we have fun. No, not like that, he has a girl. But just as a good guy friend here in Boston.
Saturday morning was oral argument. I went to sleep early Friday night (10:15) and got up at 5:30. I hadn't really written anything down for the argument at all...I'd thought about it plenty and I knew exactly what arguments I needed to make but I had to get them and my cases down on my folder. So, i got up, took a shower, made breakfast, worked until about 9:30 (took a few breaks for the movies in the background on TV), got dressed and went into town. It wasn't horrible, I was definitely nervous, and my voice was shakey here and there. I forgot to make a few of my arguments, but created a couple new ones on the fly. All in all, it was good. I made my client "very sympathetic". What can I say...people want to believe me!!
When I got home Maria and I went into Brighton Center for lunch. We were really excited for outdoor patios, but none were open yet, so we just got take-out and went up to the park. It was great. Until it started to RAIN! But we made it home and watched Taming of the Shrew on OnDemand to make up for it.
Today, got up, cleaned like it was my job, Bathroom, Kitchen and laundry...wahoo! Yep..that's all. No quiz yet today, just updating on the boring stuff ;)
