So it's been a while...
...and I really want to do a long post today, but I just don't have the energy. This is the busy season for me, and my brain just shuts down when I'm not at work. I miss you all, and want to talk to you, but every time I start to write, my brain stalls...

We have this one dad who comes into the store with his little girl. She's about four or five, and adorable as all get out. So's her daddy. *drool* He doesn't wear a ring, and totally exudes the whole "partial-custody-make-every-second-count" vibe. They came in last night and he and I chatted for a second. Sweetest guy ever. And sinfully good-looking. Pale skin, black hair, well built, and (even though I hate it, I'm using this descriptor) eyes the color of good dark chocolate. Sooty lashes that Maybelline models envy. *drool* And really well built. Did I mention that already? It bears repeating.

I broke my shoe at work. The stupid buckle just snapped right off. I've only had them a month, and the store where I got them can't do anything other than sending them back to Dansko for inspection and repair, but Shane (Meghan's brother) recommended a good repair shop since it would take a really long time to get them back from the company. *headdesk*

Apparently a pulled tendon takes longer to heal than a broken bone. I'm going to be in the stupid ankle brace for the rest of my life at the rate I'm going. Curse my klutzy tendencies.

I really want to start dating, but I haven't met anyone that I'm interested in who seems interested in me. Do I have "leper" tattooed across my forehead or something?

I want to redo my LJ layout, to something that really fits me, but can't seem to find one that really hits me. Same goes for my default icon. I'm just feeling restless, I guess.) I want a whole theme that ties together, from the layout to the link titles.

I guess that's it for today. I'm gonna post to the Hat, then go home and see if I can focus this restlessness on cleaning.
