What your mom is doing, although very admirable, is also full of risk. It's OK for you to be scared. To be perfectly blunt, I'd think you were stupid if you weren't at least a little afraid for her.

She's your mother; that's a unique and precious bond. There will never be another person in the world that you love quite the same way you love her, even when you think you're nothing but angry with her. Believe me...

That said, I wish I could give you the enormous hug that I have in my heart for you right now. But even more than that, I wish that she could hug you right now.
