Many countries have death penalties for being gay. We don't want Uganda to become another. Why are we especially interested in this country? Because their anti-gay ignorance and hatred was perpetuated and encouraged by so-called christian missionaries from the US, like Scott Lively, head of the Abiding Truth Ministries, who has bragged of his "accomplishments" in Uganda.
Lively is applauded by the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer. Now why does that bad, bad Southern Poverty Law Center pick on these two organizations by labeling them hate groups? Hmmm?
