The not-so-stark contrast in some basic principles. But there are contrasts. Your choices: the President, who has lead the country, boosted the US auto industry, and advanced the rights of women and lgbt people, and who has class and charisma; or the uncool rich uncle, who says he can grow the economy better than the President, but hasn't given any real details as to how (except the tried and untrue trickle-down theory), who said the auto industry should have been allowed to fail, and who doesn't care about the rights of women or lgbt people (he told one lesbian woman in Massachussets that he didn't care how she explained to her daughter why he wanted to keep her moms from getting married), and who botches something as simple as diplomatic relations with Great Britain.
